when can i stop working

This week was loooong !!!!
Like forty-two hours long, and while i more then appreciate getting to have all that money there are a few things I don't appreciate... {not listed in order of importance}
1. Not having time to do the dishes.
2. Not getting to sleep in on Friday {a day I normally have off}
3. Feeling unmotivated to blog/ do things I normally love to do.
4. Feeling so hot, sweaty and covered in kid stuff that I feel the need to shower instant I get home.
So I have decided to start planning for my retirement.
Skip straight over having kids and finishing my education and go right to the part of life that I will hopefully live long enough to enjoy.
RETIREMENT
I'm thinking I will serve a mission, and spend lots of time by the sea. Travel will certainly be in there and so will volunteering in my community.
I guess what I am saying is days/ weeks like this make me miss having a life where I feel like I can change the world.

What would you do if you could take a year off of your life....?
I'm more then curious.

Tunes on Tuseday

You know when you go to high school and you have this friend who is in band. In high school you might not think much of it {everyone is in a band lol}

But then you get older and that friend seems to have only gotten better and better.

Needless to say my friend  Harris Heller is that talented friend for me ....
Watch out world he is going to be huge one day!

Reno Aces Summer Fun

Baseball is something that has always been a part of my life. My mother was actually at one of my father's baseball games when she went into labor with both my brother and I! I can remember watching my Dad play pretty much all my life.
And when we weren't watching him play we were watching professionals play.
{For my sixteenth birthday I got to watch the Yankees play in New York!}
Anyways the first time Kyle and I went to a baseball game in Salt Lake he hated it ... it kinda broke my heart.
Yet he gave it another chance and went to the Aces in Reno with my Mother and Father and I and now,
HE LOVES IT.
We are looking forward to the next one... where I might actually take pictures of the game lol.

A Flash back to the Civil War

My husband loves history.
I love watching crazy people!
So what better to do on a weekend then attend a Rendezvous?

{Crazy (cool) people}

{Kyle throwing a tomahawk}

{He knows that Gen.Lee didn't win but he loves him.}

{The soldiers all marching off to war.}

{Both of us loved every minute of craziness}

Gondola Ride

Heavenly at Tahoe has a Gondola
And because my husband likes to spoil me ... he took me on it.
Now i want you to know that I am afraid of heights,
so this was definitely a push for me.
Yet I still begged kyle to take me!

IT WAS BEAUTIFUL

Hello World

We finally got married !

Needless to say it was the best day of my life.
May 26, 2011
The only day that entire week that didn't SNOW!!!
We were sealed in the Reno Temple for all time and eternity in the morning.
Followed by lunch at the Olive Garden for our family{hosted by Kyle's Mom and Dad}
Then for Kyle and I we got to take a nap!!!!
Together!!!! {It was a big deal}
And our family headed to the "meadow" to set up the reception.
Once we arrived we had a brief ring ceremony to explain to non-member family and friends why we choose to be sealed in the temple instead of a traditional wedding.
Then we partied!

Anyways after close to two months of just enjoying being married, I am back in action.
Rediscovering how to be fashionable in a very ... modest world.
